Frequently Asked Questions
Is embedding free?
Yes! Embedding citation maps is completely free. There are no watermarks or limitations.
Does the embed update automatically?
Yes. The embedded map fetches data from our API in real-time, so it always shows your latest citation data from Google Scholar (accessed via SerpAPI).
Can I customize the colors?
We offer Light, Dark, and Auto themes. The map uses your site's CSS variables when possible for a seamless look.
Will it slow down my website?
No. The embed loads asynchronously and doesn't block your page rendering. It's optimized for performance.
